Isaiah Thomas finally is beginning to open up about the blockbuster trade that shipped him to the Cleveland Cavaliers with an Instagram post featuring a video entitled “Book of Isaiah.”

Thomas was said to be upset over the Boston Celtics trading him to the Cavs along with Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic, the Nets’ unprotected 2018 first-round pick and a 2020 second-rounder in exchange for Kyrie Irving. But a report indicated he is “fully committed” to the Cavaliers despite any bitterness.

Thomas’ Instagram post, published Tuesday evening, appears to confirm his dedication and desire.

The message attached to the video feature lyrics from a song by rapper Nipsey Hussle.

“They say every man is defined by his reaction to any given situation,” the post reads. “Well who would you want to define you? Someone else or yourself? Whatever you do, give your heart to it and stay strong.”

The post wraps up with an all-caps message, “THE MARATHON CONTINUES!!” before a series of hashtags, one hinting that another video is on the horizon.

The footage in the “Book of Isaiah” video includes Thomas telling someone on the phone about how Celtics boss Danny Ainge informed him he had been dealt. There’s also video of Thomas receiving treatments and rehabbing his ailing hip as well as footage of the point guard doing some light work in a Cavs jersey at Cleveland Clinic Courts.

An Instagram story by Thomas’ wife Kayla earlier this week documented her husband’s arrival in Cleveland as well as him checking out his new stall in the Cavaliers’ locker room.

But Thomas’ Instagram video documentary is the first time he personally acknowledged the upheaval of the past handful of weeks. And as Thomas stated in his message, there’s more to come.
