Matt Jones is once again a member of the Colts after being released by the team less than a week ago.
After being released by the Redskins earlier this month, Jones was claimed off of waivers by the Colts on September 3. Last Saturday, Indianapolis announced they had waived the 24-year-old running back. On Tuesday, Jones was once a Colt once more.
The move caps a whirlwind couple of week for Jones, who is in his third season after being selected in the third round of the 2015 NFL Draft. Jones spent last season with the Redskins and started all seven games he appeared in. Jones rushed for 460 yards and three touchdowns.
